Meet our Professionals

Olivia Snyder is one of our Jr Fire Fighters that is currently a Junior at Skyline High School. Just recently she received the Jr. Fire Fighter of the Year by working hard both in the fire house and in the community. She has been dedicated to the citizens of Preston and continues to train to pursue her dream as a fire fighter.
Chelsi Horn has been with the department for almost 2 years now. She currently finished the fire 1 & 2 program and is studying to take the MO State written test for her certification. Not only a dedicated fire fighter, she works within the Jr program to help mentor and lead youth in our community about the fire service and what it means to give back to the community. Chelsi continues to be a valued asset to the community and we look forward to seeing what she can achieve.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are we dues based or tax based?
HCCF formerly Preston Volunteer Fire Dept is a dues based organization. We rely on members of the community paying memberships to continue operating throughout the year.
How much are our dues?
2025 Fire Dues letters have been mailed out and are $60.00 per parcel that does not join your address listed. If only 1 parcel is covered and you have a fire, it is subject to the MO state statue for billing no member property.
Do you fill swimming pools?
Yes, but we have had to switch toa fee for service rather than a donation. Due to continued rise in fuel cost we can no longer offer a donation service to fill a swimming pool. We now charge a minimum of $500.00 for the first 12,000 gallons and $150.00 per 4,000 gallons after that. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to help.
Can anyone join the Fire Department?
Absolutely and we have things that everyone can participate in. From becoming a firefighter, to a board member, Jr Firefighter or a member of our auxiliary. We have something that any age of person can participate in.
